What to check before buying a plot
A plot is the one property you buy for what has not been built yet, so the price on its own tells you very little. Start with the land status — is it zoned for building, and what does the local plan allow — then read the build limits: density, floor-area ratio and height decide whether your idea fits at all. The rest is access and utilities: a paved road, power and water at the boundary. Anything you assume here you pay for later.
